Job Description

      How you will contribute:

  • Proactively drive strong brand image, sales volume and productivity at the point of sale including brick and mortar and online channels

  • Cultivate strong relationships with teams by engaging in active and consistent dialogue regarding product, brand positioning, market share, pricing architecture, brand performance vs competition, strengths, opportunities and strategic business planning

  • Project, manage, negotiate and report on multiple budgets

  • Manage seasonal order entry and processing as well as securing reorders as warranted by sales and/or key brand objectives to optimize sales results

  • Capture and manage all business KPIs including, but not limited to fiscal sales, retail sales plans, inventory and sell thru vs competitive brands/department trends. Develop and implement key actions accordingly

  • Facilitate and optimize the buying process through intimate knowledge of the collections and the opportunities they present for each business

  • Facilitate the implementation of company strategies by motivating and supporting buying teams, store management and retail sales teams

  • Conduct store visits on a consistent basis to evaluate merchandise assortments, positioning, visual standards, processes, staff proficiency, marketing tools and sales strategy

  • Ensure brand standards for visual merchandising are implemented at point of sale

  • Consistently educate, activate and engage store teams

  • Drive strong performance of retail teams, particularly DSAs by building and executing a comprehensive program, monitoring performance and providing consistent feedback with stakeholders to inform key next steps

  • Understand and monitor receipt flow and status on volume/style level and communicate and or action this information to relevant parties accordingly

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Analyze sales/business to identify trends and opportunities and develop strategic action plans

  • Actively search and understand market competition with focus on gaining market share

  • Demonstrate effective managerial competencies: education, engagement, collaboration, lead change initiatives

  • Consistent comprehensive reporting to management with strategic content.

  • Provide brand and competitive feedback on sales, activations, events, promotional activity

  • Promote brand awareness, establish market/store presence, and capture competitive market share

our Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of at least 5 years in luxury wholesale, retail or related field

  • Entrepreneurial, competitive, strategic, highly analytical and driven to achieve results

  • Experience in collaborating with multiple teams (Buying, Retail Sales, Marketing and Events, Merchandising)

  • Decisive and collaborates with a team to develop strategies

  • Flexible, adaptable, reliable and retains a positive attitude while tackling multiple tasks; work well under pressure

  • Able to quickly assess and anticipate needs and provide highest quality of service

  • Ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology

  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint;

  • Bachelor degree in Business or related discipline

  • Enjoys and has the ability to travel

  • Operates with a high degree of ethics and integrity
